An accident caused Day Road to close for a few hours Friday morning and police say the man responsible took off from the scene.
It happened between Fir and Home roads around 5:30AM.
Police tell us a power line was knocked down after a car hit an electric pole.
They say the driver, 26-year-old Fred Sexton of Osceola, ran off.
When police found him, he was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries from the accident and possibly hypothermia.
Crews were able to clean up the accident and re-open Day Road around noon.
