Bomb Scare at St. Joseph County Jail

A bomb scare hit closer to home Friday morning.

The St. Joseph County Jail is getting back to regular activities after a bomb threat.

For a short time sample street, between Lafayette and Chapin, was closed while police investigated the scare.

Police say a man dropped off three suspicious packages at the jail and the bomb squad was called.

It turns out, the packages contained ceramic heaters.
