A smile can brighten anyone's day.
Local dentists worked extra hard Friday giving some kids a reason to show-off their pearly whites.
As part of "give kids a smile" day, dentists treated kids to free exams, cleanings, x-rays, and more.
Many offices worked to help children with the highest need for dental care.
Lots of kids opened wide to learn about healthy habits that can bring a lifetime of smiles.
Dr. George Mighion stated, “Today we're seeing kids from all ages 4 to 15 to 16 here. We start them early on the right habits. Hopefully they can not have any big issues when they get older. “
"Give kids a smile" day is part of Children's Dental Health Month, which takes place in February.
