Woodwind and Brasswind has a buyer.
The South Bend based music company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November.
Since then, several companies have expressed interest, including Steinway Music, the parent company of Conn-Selmer.
This week, a judge approved a $29 million sale agreement between Woodwind and Brasswind and Musician's Friend, which is a parent company of Guitar Center.
The California company will assume about $2 million dollars in payroll, customer credit expenses and other liabilities.
The CEO of Woodwind and Brasswind says having a buyer means the company can stay in business.
