Governor Daniels is one step closer to creating two privately managed tollways in Indiana!
The Senate Transportation Committee endorsed the bill Tuesday.
If approved by lawmakers, it would give Daniels the tolling authority to seek out private developers for the Illiana expressway, which would cover 50 miles of northwestern Indiana, and an Indiana commerce connector around part of Indianapolis.
The bill now heads to another Senate committee for further review.
