One cell-block at the Michigan City State Prison remains on lockdown Tuesday, five days after prison guards had to lock down the entire prison.
The lockdown came after a fight involving inmates from rival gangs.
At first the whole prison was affected, but now it is just the 300-inmate cell-block "B".
Two inmates in the fight that sparked the lockdown were hurt badly enough to need hospital treatment.
Prison officials say the cell-block will be locked down indefinitely while they investigate the fight.
