Police are looking for a man who robbed a South Bend bank Monday morning.
It happened just before 10AM at the MFB branch on Wayne Street downtown.
Police say a man robbed the bank at gunpoint and got away with an undetermined amount of money.
Capt. Phil Trent of the South Bend Police Department stated, "We've got units in the area, right now searching for him. We also have very good surveillance photos of him. So, we're pretty confident, we'll be able to find this guy!"
The suspect is described as a black male, 6-feet-tall.
He was wearing a brown jacket and black knit cap.
Police say they are surprised by the location of the robbery.
Since the downtown MFB branch is in a busy office building, it usually is not targeted.
