Kosciusko Prosecutor Faces Mischief Charges

A Kosciusko County deputy prosecutor faces charges after police say he punched a restaurant door.

Now, 25-year-old Matthew Shively faces charges of criminal mischief and criminal recklessness.

The incident happened December 14th at Mad Anthony’s lake city tap house in Warsaw.

He was booked Friday at the Kosciusko county jail and released on a 500-dollar bond.

Police say Shively argued with two customers and was escorted out of the restaurant.

Police say once Shively got outside he punched the door, shattering glass and causing 5-hundred dollars in damage.

A special prosecutor will handle the case.
