From fun for the kids, to fun for the adults.
Some Michiana softball players got in a few swings Saturday for a good cause.
The tenth annual Corevilla Snowball Softball Tournament got underway.
More than 600 people and 42 teams signed-up to play ball.
And, they will keep swinging no matter what Mother Nature decides to do.
Tournament organizers say many of the teams come back year after year.
"They have fun. As you can see they’re into it, most of these teams have played together all year long and this is their warm up. This is their warm up for spring training," explains Tom Tucker, Corevilla Volunteer.
The proceeds from this weekends tournament benefit Corevilla.
It is a non-profit organization that provides homes for people with developmental disabilities in South Bend.
