South Bend's Healthworks Kids Museum is seven-years old.
To celebrate, officials threw a party Saturday.
Kids and adults got to enjoy all of the regular exhibits and games free of charge.
Museum staff says it is all worth it to teach kids the importance of staying healthy and fit.
“It's a special day for a lot of reasons; but one's because we open the doors to the public and were all free and a lot of people who've heard about us, or maybe even haven't heard about us will come see what were all about,” explains Jeanne Rogers, Health Works.
The Tooth Fairy also made a special guest appearance.
So, what is next for the museum?
Officials say they will soon offer new health and fitness programs for kids.
