Limited Amounts of Coffee May Not Harm Developing Fetus

Do not feel guilty about having a cup of coffee while you are pregnant.

New research shows drinking limited amounts caffeine may not affect a newborn's birth weight.

A new study compared more than 1,200 pregnant women.

Half drank three cups of caffeinated coffee a day.

The other half had decaf.

Researchers say there was no significant difference in the length of pregnancies or birth weight between the two groups.

However, more studies need to be done.
