Olympic athletes will not be going for gold in South Bend.
Yesterday, the Chicago 2016 Bid Committee announced construction of an 80,000 seat Olympic Stadium in Washington Park.
It also issued a revised list of other venues for the games.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the venues do not include South Bend.
The original proposal had kayaking and soccer venues in South Bend.
Chicago and Los Angeles are the two American cities vying to host the 2016 games.
