About one in five Indiana Toll Road employees are leaving their jobs.
They decided to take other positions with the state instead of with the company that is taking over the toll road.
Some 450 toll road employees had to decide Friday whether to stay with the toll road, move to another state job, or seek work elsewhere.
The toll road has been leased to a foreign consortium doing business as statewide mobility partners.
Under the terms of the lease, the company agreed to interview all toll road employees who wanted to keep their jobs.
