Gas prices under $2 dollars a gallon have made their way back into Michiana.
The price of self serve regular dipped to $1.95 today at the SAPNA station in Elkhart.
Passing motorists were quick to mark the occasion, according to Manager Mary Workman, “I’ve had people come in give me $20-dollars and say I know it's not going to take it all, I’ll be back to get my change, and they're so happy about getting change from a $20-at the gas station. That never happens anymore right?”
While the pricing milestone seems to have stopped miles short of the South Bend market, one station owner says that should change within days.
