A Berrien County man has been charged with the death of a three-year-old Benton Township boy.
Jonathon Roseberry is accused of killing his live in girlfriend's son.
Police say Roseberry and the boy's mother took the child to the hospital Monday night.
Doctors found the boy had a ruptured bowel and sent him for specialized care in Kalamazoo, where he died yesterday.
Roseberry told police he and the boy were "rough-housing" while his girlfriend worked Sunday.
He told them he hit the boy in the stomach twice.
Roseberry faces life in prison if convicted.
