Indiana Democrats are following up on a campaign pledge today filing a bill that would eliminate state sales tax from gasoline!
House democrats say Hoosiers deserve a break at the pump.
If it passes, the state would miss out on more than 300 million dollars a year in revenue.
But some in the Republican controlled senate are skeptical.
They say the hefty price tag is hard to justify, given other funding priorities and a limited amount of new tax revenue.
