NIPSCO says putting signs and posters on the poles poses a safety hazard to repair crews.
The signs are eventually removed or fall off, but, the staples and fasteners are left behind and could injure employees who must climb the poles.
If you need to post a sign, you are encouraged to call your local zoning officers to find a legal posting place.
