A grand jury will determine if criminal charges should be filed against the parents of a six-year-old Merrillville boy who was attacked by his family's pet Rottweiler.
Bamba Niang was home alone on October 19th when he was attacked.
The Lake County Prosecutor's Office decided not to file charges, but referred the case to the grand jury.
Both dogs were quarantined at an animal hospital and later euthanized.
