The wife of kidnapped LaPorte County businessman Jeffrey Ake is getting help from her church.
Earlier this week, Liliana Ake put her home up for sale and began bankruptcy proceedings on her husband's Rolling Prairie business.
Jeffrey Ake has been missing since April 2005, when he was abducted by gunmen near Baghdad.
He was last seen in a video that showed him being held at gunpoint.
Since his fate is unknown, Liliana can not receive any of her husband's benefits.
The LaPorte Missionary Church started a fund in Liliana's name to help her pay bills, so that she can provide for her four children and stay in the family's home.
