An autopsy was performed Friday on an elderly man found dead inside his South Bend home.
Firefighters forced their way into 75-year-old James Lydeen's home Thursday in the 200-block of East Dubail.
Concerned friends called the police after they had not seen Lydeen for a few days.
At this time, police are not releasing Lydeen's cause of death.
The St. Joseph County HomicideUunit is investigating.
