A 16-year-old Elkhart boy pleads guilty to criminal recklessness in the shooting death of his 11-year-old cousin.
According to our partners at the Truth today in juvenile court, the teen admitted stealing a handgun from his grandfather and allowing two young cousins to play with it the night of December 4th.
One cousin, a 12-year-old boy, fired the gun killing 11-year-old Aaliyah Joiner.
The 12 year old, who has been charged with reckless homicide, said he did not know the gun was loaded.
