A South Bend woman will spend two decades behind bars for acting as the getaway driver in a grocery store murder.
Nivea baker was sentenced this morning to 20 years in prison.
She's connected to the December 2005 murder of Preet Singh
Baker admitted that she picked-up three men after they robbed and gunned down Singh inside his small store on Lincolnway West.
As part of her plea deal, baker agreed to testify against Dishawn Procter, Marshall Shepherd, and William Tobar.
The men have already been convicted and sentenced.
In court today, baker said she sends her apologies to the victim's family.
