You've heard the saying, "Be careful what you wish for!"
When Erika Unzueta learned she was pregnant, she was hoping for a little girl.
Instead, the Colorado mom of four gave birth to triplets, all boys.
Jack, John and Matthew were born Monday at a Denver hospital.
Despite being five weeks early, all three are healthy.
And, even though Erika wanted a girl, she has no complaints. "I think everything happens for a reason and they're supposed to be here for a reason,” she says. “We never thought we wanted a big family, but now that we have it, we wouldn't trade it for anything else."
Erika and her husband, Aaron, did not use fertility treatments.
Doctors say there is only a 1/8,000 chance of having triplets without giving Mother Nature some help.
