Pink Slips Fly at Roseland Town Council

You could say the Roseland Town Council was “fired up” for it’s meeting on Thursday.

As a result, the Town Marshall was fired, along with two reserve police officers, the Assistant Zoning Commissioner,
and the cleaning lady.

For the past two years, Roseland was ruled by the controversial husband and wife team of David and Dorothy Snyder.

However, Dorothy's term expired at the end of last year.

Today, David Snyder was ejected from the town council meeting...for being disruptive.

According to new Town Council President Charley Shields, “he (Snyder)insisted on ignoring my requests and he disrupted the meeting and certainly he, of all people, knows the result of ignoring the chair's request.”

Snyder had voiced his objections to the personnel changes,
Especially the termination of the Town Marshall, saying “he was professional in all manners and aspects of his position, he fulfilled his job responsibilities his termination was uncalled for.”
