A change of power on the Roseland Town Council is sparking a reaction from some residents.
Monday night opponents of Dorothy Snyder are burning signs they once posted on their front lawns to protest her authority.
Dorothy Snyder and her husband made up two-thirds of the town board for several years.
During that time controversy erupted as residents were thrown out of town meetings and even arrested for disturbing the proceedings.
The Snyders also fined residents and businesses and the result was a protest of signs that opponents of the Synders began posting in their front lawns, calling Roseland instead, Snyderville.
