Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm was sworn in for her second term Monday in Lansing.
Crowds fought a light drizzle to watch the ceremony on the state capitol steps.
Folks then joined Granholm, Lieutenant Governor John Cherry and other dignitaries at Lansing Center for the inaugural speeches.
Michigan's own Anita Baker sang the National Anthem.
In her speech, Granholm called on people from around Michigan to transform the state and build what she calls the Next Michigan.
