Radio Tower Falls

If football fans are planning to follow the post New Year Bowls on the radio, you may have to change the dial.

A radio tower on Notre Dame's campus fell last night during the overnight storms.

The 160-foot tower broadcasted the signal for ESPN Radio 1490 over AM frequencies.

The collapse cut sports fans in Michiana off from the station Monday morning.

For now, WDND is broadcasting on another AM frequency.

There is no word on when the station will be back up on their own.
