Lots of adults make big plans for New Year’s Eve, but sometimes, those events are not exactly kid friendly.
If you are looking to get out on the town for the night, but want your kids to celebrate the holiday too, the Michiana family YMCA has an answer.
Sunday night the YMCA is opening its doors for children in grades one through six for a night of fun.
Kids can stay up all night long, swim, play basketball, eat snacks and watch movies.
This is the third year the YMCA is offering the event.
They say it is a good way to keep your kids safe, while you are ringing in the New Year.
“It’s a good safe place for kids to be and parents feel good about their kids here at the YMCA. We want to be a place for families, and that’s what we are all about,” explains Tom Coxey, Executive Director, Michiana Family YMCA.
Doors at the YMCA open at 8:30 Sunday night.
The cost is $25 per child.
