After having probably the best night of his Notre Dame career, guard Kyle Mcalarney was arrested early Friday morning and charged with possession of marijuana.
According to the arrest report sent to NewsCenter 16 by the Indiana State Police, Mcalarney was stopped for a traffic violation on Edison Road near Ironwood at approx. 1:30 Friday morning.
During the traffic stop, Mcalarney was arrested and charted with the marijuana possession.
He was then transported to the St. Joe County Jail.
Mcalarney was released after posting a $250 dollar bond.
