If this year's e-coli outbreak had you avoiding leafy greens like spinach, listen up.
A small study suggests eating your leafy greens could help keep your blood pressure under control.
The study from Sweden included 17 healthy adults who took a daily dose of a nitrate supplement equal to that found in a vegetable.
When taking the supplement their average blood pressure was slightly lower than if they took a placebo.
Researchers say other studies have shown similar results.
