Granholm’s Second Inauguration

Video will be available shortly.

With President Ford being laid to rest next week in Grand Rapids, Michigan's Governor is getting set for a toned-down inaugural celebration.

For her second inauguration, Governor Jennifer Granholm is ditching the black-tie gala for brown-bag open houses.

Organizers say the goal is to be sensitive not only to the passing of former President Ford, but to Michigan’s troubled economic status.

The Democratic Governor plans to celebrate by attending up to 13 inaugural events over 22 days.
