New Study on Fish Oil Supplements and Pregnant Women

Pregnant women who take fish oil supplements may be doing a lot of good for their unborn children.

Fish oil supplements may help to improve a child's hand-eye coordination.

A small study from Australia found mothers who took four grams of fish oil supplements a day, during the second half of pregnancy had kids with better coordination.

Researchers think the omega-three fatty acids found in fish oil are key.

Fish oil supplements also appear to be safe for pregnant women, but researchers say more studies need to be done to confirm the findings.
