A group of Marines, including a Penn High School Graduate, have been charged with murder.
22-year old Justin Sharratt faces murder charges in connection to the 2005 killings of 24 Iraqi civilians in the town of Haditha.
Lance Corporal Sharratt is a 2003 graduate of Penn High School.
Military officials say Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich told his squad to quote, "shoot first and ask questions later".
24 civilians were killed in their homes, including woman and children.
Justin's parents are standing by their son.
They insist the marines were following orders and countering insurgent attacks.
If convicted, the Marines could face life in prison.
Military officials say as many as three other officers might face charges for allegedly covering up or not investigating the incident.
