It is not just Santa that is making his way to Michiana.
‘Frosty the Snowman’ hit the streets of downtown Mishawaka Friday.
Beiger Elementary students presented Mishawaka Mayor Jeff Rea with 22 Four-foot high wooden snowmen.
The snowmen were saw-created by members of the Beiger Elementary P.T.A. and then given to each classroom at the school to decorate.
The children's creations will be on display at city hall, the Mishawaka police station, and many other city businesses.
Mayor Rea stated, “These kids have some amazing talent and the creativity to sit and see what's they've done, I think it's great they are going to share it with the entire community.”
The Mayor says the snowmen will stay up through the winter.
No word if the snowmen will re-appear next year.
