ISTEP Results

A call to action: that is what the head of Indiana schools has to say about stagnant ISTEP test scores.

Released Thursday, statewide results show little improvement over last year.

About 70 percent of students in grades three through 10 passed the English portion of the test.

A little more than 72 percent passed the math section.

State Superintendent Suellen Reed says passing rates for Indiana students decline as they move into higher grades is a trend seen across the country.
