The largest U.S. measles outbreak in more than a decade has been linked to an Indiana teenager.
The Centers for Disease Control says the 17-year-old unknowingly brought the viral disease back to her Clinton County home after visiting Romania.
The outbreak infected 34 people last year in Indiana and Illinois, which are double the cases from 2004.
Luckily, no one died, but three people were hospitalized.
The CDC says a "major epidemic" was avoided because communities surrounding the outbreak had high vaccination rates.
