Police say an inexperienced traveler mistakenly put her grandson through a carry-on luggage screener at Los Angeles International Airport.
A startled security worker noticed the child on the screening monitor and immediately pulled him out.
Doctors say the infant did not receive a dangerous dose of radiation.
This is not the first time something like this has happened at LAX.
