Will Christopher Allen be tried for a fourth time in South Bend's infamous Osco triple murder?
There could be an answer Wednesday.
The St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office has called a news conference for Wednesday afternoon to discuss the status of the case.
The special prosecutor from Allen County will also brief the media.
Allen has been tried in the 1990 murders of Scott Dick, Connie Zalewski and Tracy Holvoet three times in the last five years.
Two of the trials, including one this July, ended in a hung jury.
Allen was convicted in 2002, but that conviction was overturned.
