A former teacher's aide in the South Bend schools said she would not appeal her conviction on classroom related sex crimes.
Tuesday, an attorney for Schmeca White did offer some resistance.
He unsuccessfully argued that his client deserved a new trial, because of several legal errors made at her last trial in September.
The trial judge Tuesday denied the motion, prompting White to indicate that she would not appeal any further.
White was convicted of three felony counts. Two of those counts involved sex crimes committed against special education students.
