A 43-year-old Michigan woman is in jail for neglecting her disabled daughter.
Theresa Terrell was arraigned on charges of second-degree voluntary adult abuse after her 22-year-old daughter was found suffering from malnourishment.
Authorities say Terrell’s daughter weighed only 43 pounds and was found wearing four soiled diapers and a t-shirt.
The young woman was found Wednesday inside a Flint home.
Authorities believe she had been in a room in the house for several weeks.
The victim is now being treated at a hospital.
If convicted, her mother could face up to four years in jail.
