There are a couple of new options as you head out to do some holiday shopping this weekend.
‘Steve and Barry's’, a discount clothing store specializing in college apparel, held its grand opening today in South Bend.
The national chain opened its 210th store in the old Target store near Hickory and McKinley.
Nothing in the store sells for more than $14.98, including t-shirts, pants, and jackets.
The new store manager, Deb Uselton said, "It's a really fun place to shop. We have a lot. It's something you need to be able to spend a little time here just to see all the different things that we have. People can spend a couple hours looking at the different t-shirts that we have."
The store has licenses with colleges across the country, but if you are hoping to stock up on Irish gear before the Sugar Bowl, you are out of luck.
The chain does not have a deal worked out with Notre Dame.
