Inmate Found Guilty of Threatening the President

A federal jury finds a South Bend inmate guilty of sending threatening letters to President Bush.
34-year-old Kerry Magers is already serving a 55 year sentence for the 1992 deadly shooting of a cab driver.
The letters contained white powder thought to be anthrax, but tests showed it was not.
Mager’s lawyers say someone else sent the letters but a handwriting analysis showed Magers wrote them.
Westville Correctional Facility was also listed on the return address.
The FBI thinks Mager sent the letters, so he could go on trial and have a short vacation from prison.
