The FBI is optimistic about one day solving the murder of teamster’s leader Jimmy Hoffa.
Director Robert Mueller says the FBI will follow any leads they receive concerning the location of Hoffa’s remains.
Hoffa was last seen alive in 1975 near Detroit.
The FBI searched for Hoffa’s remains this summer at a Michigan horse farm, but found nothing.
FBI Director Robert Mueller stated, “We have a long memory. And as you can see from the undertakings last summer, we are very willing to follow up on leads where we believe there is basis. Some information that will help us solve that murder."
Other theories about Hoffa’s remains include: he was buried at Giants Stadium in New Jersey, or dumped in a Florida swamp.
