Michigan Worker Dies after School Explosion

One person is dead after an explosion at a Michigan High School.

The school in Otsego is currently under construction.

Police say a 41-year-old Howard City man was removing an end cap from a pressurized water pipe when the cap flew off and struck the construction worker in the head.

He later died at the hospital.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation.

The school is not expected to be complete for at least another year.
