Plans to study potential locations for a new Indiana-Illinois expressway are given a green light.
Governor Daniels says Indiana and Illinois have signed an agreement to look at potential locations for the new highway.
The so-called Illiana expressway would run between I-94 in Indiana and I-57 in Illinois.
Daniels says it would help relieve traffic congestion in northwest Indiana and the Chicago area.
The expressway study will cost between five and ten million dollars and take no more than three years to complete.
