Mishawaka Fire Destroys a Home and Kills Two Pets

Video will be available shortly.

A local home was destroyed by smoke and two dogs died in a morning house fire in Mishawaka.

It happened on Miller Street around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters say neither of the people who live in the house were at home when the fire broke out.

Three departments were called to fight the fire, which crews think may have started in the attic.

Firefighters are still trying to figure out what caused the fire.
