A judge has delayed the trial for a Michigan truck driver charged in a deadly crash.
The crash killed a Taylor University employee and four students, including one who was misidentified for weeks.
38-year-old Robert Spencer's trial is now scheduled to begin April 30th.
That is four days after the one-year anniversary of the crash.
Back in April, Spencer’s tractor trailer crossed a median on I69 and crashed into the Taylor University van.
The crash led to the tragic mix-up of two students, one who died and the other who survived.
Spencer's attorney's asked for extra time to prepare for trial.
He faces several charges including five counts of reckless homicide.
