You may want to wear your best underwear the next time you fly. A new machine with X-ray vision could soon be coming to your airport.
By Christmas, Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix will be the first in the country to test the new technology, called Back-scatter.
The Back-scatter has been around for a while but has never been used, because people were worried about privacy issues.
The TSA says it has found a way to refine the machine's images, so that private areas can be blurred but bombs and other threats would still be detected.
Passengers targeted for the screening can opt out by choosing the traditional pat-down.
