Myers Sentenced To 65 Years In Prison

The man convicted of murdering IU student Jill Behrman will most likely spend the rest of his life behind bars.

31-year-old John Myers the Second was sentenced to 65-years in prison today in Martinsville.

A Morgan County judge heard about three hours of motions and arguments before the sentencing.

Berhman disappeared in May 2000 while on a bicycle ride near bloomington.

A jury needed only about 50 minutes to find Myers guilty after a ten day trial in October.
