Cleveland Road from State Road 933 to Riverside was blocked off for hours following a single vehicle rollover. Authorities tell us at about 8:30 p.m. an eastbound van on Cleveland struck the guardrail just west of Kenilworth.
The driver of the conversion van, a 65-year-old man, suffered head and hand injures. His passenger was not harmed. “It appears the driver of the van had some sort of medical emergency that led to him hitting the guardrail,” says Jaimee Thirion, Public Information Officer for St. Joseph County Police. The driver was transported to Memorial Hospital. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening
